MLB the show 13

Anybody else get it? The Show is my favorite game ever. How dare they change the guess pitch option? I'm fired up. I started a road to the show and I have 4 hrs in 4 games but I can't get over the guess pitch change. Why do video games always change shit? This is about as cool as Madden changing and then removing franchise mode.

I've been kinda disappointed in this game the last couple years to be honest. My favorite baseball game ever was MLB 2k5 on ps2. There's aspects of that game that I wish were in the show, then it would be the best ever to me

It only tips you off if you guess the pitch and location now. It used to show you the location if you just guessed that right and it would flash if you just guessed the pitch type.

I copped it yesterday and it's the shit. The last MLB The Show I bought was 2007 with I think Vlad Guerrero on the cover lol. Sucks that they changed the guess pitch. Makes it tougher but I guess that's a good thing. I started in beginner mode but changed the difficulty to veteran earlier today. Been playing this game non stop. I'm already 12 games in haha. I need a job

I relied way too heavily on that. I'm actually still hitting good but I have it on rookie lol

I've been playing this game along time and still play my franchise on rookie, and still get frustrated like a lil boy. Im good but still haven't fully learned the pitching shit pisses me off reason why I love this game it challenges me.
Still haven't broke the homerun record got close like to 70 in a full season, I have thrown a no-hitter and perfect game though.

There are so many gameplay settings that it makes it confusing. It's kind of cool that you can customize the settings how you want but I wish it was simpler. Are any of you using the meter on defense?

I usually change the settings to classic what im used to. There's always new shit they come up with, if your talking about the throwing bar yeah its tricky 2 moves hella fast especially on a harder level.

i been hearing this game is tight.i havent played it yet havent played a baseball game in years. are legends on here like in football and basketball?

the pulse pitching is throwing me the fuck off and the throwing has to be way more precise

i cant get the pulse pitching down on experienced im throwing like 100 pitch by 5th and 6th inning the ump also is jewin me on calls

I might have to try pulse pitching. I have it on meter and the difficulty on veteran. Anyone have the difficulty higher than veteran?

This Game is much easier this year. I was reading about certain things they worked on one is that you will be able to score more runs in games. Even on rookie on MLB the show 12 it was rare to score alot of runs, now on rookie im blasting teams. Time 2 move up. I've just always been about my stats.

Is 12 worth getting? I almost never buy the current years game except NBA 2k series.
