lol i'm watching the michael jackson routine on katt williams "pimp chronicles"... funny how there were very few people, if any, saying fuck katt williams in the comments section before michael jackson died, and now damn near every other comment got em.
and why are all of michael jacksons albums on the itunes top 10 now? where were all these people buying his music when he was still alive? why did they wait until he died to buy an album of his? i might sound crazy... but i'm going to go out on a limb and say that if every single person who bought a michael jackson album within the last 3 days had bought that album 3 years ago, then michael jackson may very well be alive today. he needed that money when he was alive, and he'd be less stressed out and least likely to be abusing prescription drugs if he had this kind of album sales 3 years ago. fuck the public in general.

Like I've said before, IF they had any type of evidence that Michael Jackson ever touched any little kid, the D.A. would have pressed charges regardless. Even if the families backed off, the D.A. would not just let that go. They simply had NO evidence backing their claims. Michael Jackson reportedly paid off one of the families, which was a mistake because people assume he was guilty and tried to avoid the penalties, but in reality he did that because those people were dragging his name thru the mud and he had to do something to get them to stop. It was an attempt to stop his reputation from completely going bad in the midst of a child mollestation hearing. Even if he went to trial and was found not guilty, he STILL would have lost a lot of respectability and a lot of money, so he just paid the greedy fucks what they wanted.
Anyone who thinks the district attorney's office would have let him walk away from something as serious as child mollestation charges just because the accusing family decided they didn't want to proceed is a straight up HOMER. If they had any evidence, he would have been charged. They had nothing.

He didn't have any new music to sell. When he was coming out with new shit people were buying it, obviously. But that's what happens when an artist dies - their old albums go up in sales. People had no reason to buy an old Michael Jackson album before he died, now they want to go out and buy one because he's gone. The same shit happened to Elvis.
