FIRST I THINK MIX TAPES ARE WORSE OFF THAN THA COMPALATIONS YOU GOT THA SAM BEATS HEARD OVER AMILION TIMES ON THE RADIO AND EVERY MIX TAPE OUT THERE HAS ATLEAST ONE BEAT THAT ANOTHER ARTIST PUT ON HIS MIX TAPE SO YOU GOT BOUT OVA 100 SONGS RECORDED TO ONE BEAT AND MOST OF THE PEOPLE THAT RECORD THERE VERSION OF THERE SONG TO THA BEAT WONT COME CLOSE TO OUT DOING THE ORIGINAL SONG

THA ONLY MIX TAPE I ABSOLUTLY LOVE LIKE AN ALBUM IS THA JACKAZ MIX TAPE THAT SHIT IS SO DOPE TO THIS DAY I CAN STILL LISTEN TO IT ALSO PSD THA DRIVAH MIXES AND RENDITIONS VOL ONE WAS COO AND I ENJOYED LISTENING TO IT VOL TWO SLAPPS AND IS STR8T COMICAL THAT SONG CHEAP SHIT I WILL SING OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND NO COWARD OF THAT LOYD BANKS TRACC AND PILL YA HOE WIT THAT R KELLY TRACC HE DID FOR NICC CANNON WHEN THAT SHIT FIRST COME IN ITS LIKE THA ORIGINAL SONG THEN THA BEAT SWITCH UP SUMTHING DISGUSTING

BUT ALL IN ALL THERE ARNT MANY GOOD MIXTAPES OUT THERE AND THA ONLY THING THAT PEOPLE WAS GETTING TIRED OF WITH COMPS WERE MAYBEE TWO OR THREE RECYCLED TRACC WHEN THA REST WERE MAINLY NEW TO ALOT OF PEOPLE AND INTRODUCED NEW ARTIST AND GAVE LISTENERS A MORE FEEL OF THAT ARTIST AND THA NATURE OF THERE WORK AS APOSED TO HEARING THEM TRING TO OUT DO SOME ONE ON ANOTHER PERSONS TRACC

compilation died around 4 years ago, although a few prevailed since then, most were garbage
and mixtapes shoulda stayed in new york, its just an excuse for any half ass rapper to make you listen to his music...and make you hate those songs EVEN more...

nowadayz it seems like everyone is try'n to make a "mixtape" but to me they aint true mixtapes...1st off a real mixtape to me are the one's that dj's drop not tha artist them selfs...dj's like ex: kayslay, clue, smallz, lantern, black, warrior, whookid, drama....ect. & they all got exclusive flows, freestyle's & disses that YOU WILL NOT HEAR ANYWHERE ELSE....a true mixtape never gots tracks that you've heard on the radio because they get them b-4 they ever come out, so its not untill like about 5 months later when you will hear it on tha radio...the dj picks & chooses who he will put on, so its not up to tha rapper its up to tha dj...plus they never have tha same flows or rappers over tha track that you will end up hearing on radio...mixtapes are originaly all 100% about tha DJ not a rapper or group...alot of muthafuckaz that are clueless about them drop em, sell them & promote them like its an actual album....witch they are not....
