I know there was a thread up about this game not too long ago but i cant seem to find it.. Anyways, this game is pretty dope.. I jus received it from Game Fly and so far im lovein how original tha whole thing is.. Seems like a really cool game to play on mushrooms or something lol

I remember this game got so much hype durin E3.. Everyone was excited about it, up until the release date lol.. What happen to all the hype? This game sorta faded away.. I'm still waitin for somethin to happen in the game thats gonna make me hate it; but so far its been pretty fun and defantly was worth all the hype imo.. Is this game super short or something? Thats the only thing i can think of that'd mess it up for me.

The only bad thing i got to say bout it is the gun mechanics seem to be lacking.. But it's more fun drop kickin people then it is usein the gun anyways lol.. And to my understandin they didnt want this to be too much of a shooter, which is coo'.

DICE is releasein some dope ass games.. Battlefield and now this :)


Anyone know how long this game is? And is there any re playability value?

i have played the demo

the city is nice, i wouldnt mind living in a city which looks like it

but

i dunno not really the kinda game im into but its fun for a while

I think its suppose to take place in Tokyo?

I've jus been playin the same 1st/3rd person shooter(s) for hella long now.. So i'm glad something unique finally arrived from GameFly..

And if u enjoyed the demo u should defiantly rent/buy the game..

nah its not tokyo, its DAILY CITY, lol. It's not supposed to be a shooter, more of a first person adventure focused on evasion with some gun mechanics in it. I love it when you your running, picking up speed, hitting all the obstacles perfectly so that you dont get slowed down. It captures the feel of running and jumping outside well.

I actually skipped the demo because i heard such bad things about the game.. But then i added it on my Game Fly Que because i was lookin for something different.. Honestly, this game has blown me away.. I jus sorta wish the levels were less linear, even tho they arnt really linear at all i sorta wish you had several different paths to choose from to go rooftop to rooftop.. Also a co-op mode would be hella dope.

Once i beat the story i can tell ima gonna be hooked on the time trial races.. :) I might do some mushrooms this weekend, and fuck, this game would be a blast to play on 'em.

yea i downloaded the demo from xbox live, seems dope, I played it a few times but havent really tried the fighting moves and shit too much. but yea looks original the graphics are crazy the heights trip me out

Yeah the graphics are pretty clean.. The colors all look amazing, and crisp.. and the first person view makes everything feel hella suspenseful.. The fighting is actually hella fun; the gun-mechanics jus lack a bit.. but once you start drop kickin foo's you really wont wanna use a gun lol..

This game would be SOOOOO bad ass if they added like an RPG element to it; and allowed you to upgrade you're speed, health, jumping height, ect.. But w/e, i'm keepin my fingers crossed that their will be a #2 comein out soon.. DICE is already releasein another bad company; so why not this game later down the road?

the tight rope is a lil difficult. i finally played the demo today, and i kept getting killed. how am i supposed to disarm 5 men shooting at me?

You're suppose to run, i'd imagine.. A lot of the time you end up runnin from the police, or the "blues" as they are referred to in the game.. You can stay and fight, but that only works out good if you can somehow break the group apart and do one on ones.. I'm real good at disarming them foo's so i jus disarm one and cap the others wit' the gun.. Yeah the Demo sorta sucks because to really get hang of the controls you need to go thru the training grounds, which is the first thing you do in the campaign mode.

So far i've put 10 hours into the game.. I think i've got another 2-3 chapters left.. Man, i wish this game was fuckin longer i can get high and play this shit all day lol.. I'm hopeing they come out wit' some good DLC.. I'm also hopeing the Time Trial mode will keep me occupied, ima give that shit a go when i beat this campaign.

And damn $19.. That's cheaper then what i paid for it on GameFly, i paid $25.. And i dont even get a case and ur shits sealed lol.. Oh well, Gas, you wont be disappointed! This game is a trip.. Made for potheads.

you should get beautiful katamari for xbox 360, thats my next game im going to buy...and sau was telling me something about some game called evolution? i basically just like games i can have fun with when on drugs. that was the whole point of my xbox purchase, really.
