mIRC questions

when i try to download albums 9 times out of 10 it says "set your DCC client to recieve transfer" or something like that, how do i do that?

also how do i request a file if someone like advertises that they have it or whatever in the chat room?

how do you search to find tight bay area shit?

/dcc get nickname-of-person-sending-the-file

You can probably set mIRC to automatically DCC receive and save the file to a folder on your hard disk...but I don't use mIRC so I don't know for sure!

Usually you have to type a command like /ctcp nickname get filename

Most of the time in the "advertisements" they list how to request the files.

Sometimes (if the channel supports it) you can type !find whatever and the fserves will msg you if they have files that contain the word whatever (what you searched for)

Other times you just have to look on each fserve and see what they're offering...
