Yep agreed, the Ice Mone album Keep Grindin' is awesome.

Milwaukee from what I've seen for years and after living here for 3 months now, they know how to make fast hard gangster music and strip club anthem type songs, but they don't really know how to make chill music but that's just fine. As far as I'm concerned, stick to what you're good at.

I'm disappointed I haven't been able to find any good local stores yet Mom and Pop shops where they don't look at you funny for asking for local music. I'll keep trying though. At the Milwaukee Mall on North Ave they looked at me funny saying I should just go and get a Jay-Z album, seems like the town has somewhat of an inferiority complex, fuck that Milltown stand up.

When it comes to Milwaukee, the first artist that comes to my mind is Young Kyoz. And I haven't heard anything from him in years, since he dropped that "The Ghetto Got Me Crazy" CD. That shit was tight too. I got that one and the "Black Roses" CD. Anyone know what he's been up to?

EDIT: Or was he from Wisconsin? Shit, I can't remember.

Ice Mones first album "Da Freeza Chambra" was way better than "Keep Grindin'" IMO.
My favorites albums outta Milwaukee :
Tha D.R.E. - Gotta Get Paid / Still Creepin'
Fat4Ever - Black Cocaine W/ No Shame
DJ Thief - Lyrical Liquor
Top Prize - Playalistic Conversation
E-Mack-7 - 16 Minutes With An O.G.

1) Where can I get that Da Freeza Chambra album online or in a store?

2) The rest of those albums, what type of sound do they have? Are they in that classic Big Hank Milwaukee style of rap music or do they have a little different flavor?

Da Freeza Chambra is Out Of Print, I can upload it if you want. He also released an EP in 1993, but I never heard it.
The rest are some G-Funk albums, laidback shit...

There's a seller on ebay from milwaukee that sells milwaukee rap...just type in milwaukee rap and it should come up.

Wow that'd be awesome I'd really appreciate it if you took the effort to do that. Obviously I'd be more than happy to upload something you want, let me know if you're looking for anything in particular or I'll just upload a few of my favorite out of print albums that you may not have.
