Former UFC middleweight contender Mike Swick suffered a rib injury in training and is off of the Sept. 19 UFC Fight Night card. Jorge Gurgel trained fighter Dustin Hazelett has been signed to take his place in the Octagon against Canadian fighter Jonathan Goulet, according to a report on the UFC’s official website.

Hazelett, who carries a 9-3 overall record and a 2-1 record in UFC competition, has recently won back-to-back fights for the promotion by defeating Steve Lynch at UFC 72 and Diego Saraiva at UFC 67.

Although the original match-up between Swick and Goulet was set to air on the live Spike TV telecast of UFC Fight Night, MMAWeekly sources have confirmed that the fight has been replaced on the telecast by the rematch between Pete Sell and Nate Quarry.
