I remember for the first time, after so so many years of hearin' Mike Dean beats on all that classic Rap-A-Lot shit, the first time I seen that nicca, I was like WTF??????........never knew that dood was white and a heavy-metal lookin' type cat..............lol.........that shit tripped me the fuc out. That didn't lose no points tho, cuz Mike Dean is well respected fa'sho........that man has produced some of the dopest songs ever released.







what's up and comin'????? I know he was really tryna push that Tanya Herron singer or whatever, he got her on his myspace, but I never heard about a solo droppin', jus her hooks on shit.......anyone know?

definitely one of my favorite all time producers..he is still doing his thing..but alot of time, its not producing, its mixing and mastering..but good news..someone I know took this pic about 2 weeks ago..

As somebody stated before right now he mostly does mixing. He's done a lot of work with Kanye. I'm guessing he's making a lot of money in that field judging by the names he's mixing for. He probably gets more consistent work and better pay in the long run as an engineer than as a producer so that's why we haven't heard much from him on the production side. I sure do miss his beats though.
