I don't think this has been discussed here.... can micro loans make a positve difference

There are some issues with respect to profitability and implementation but they are definitely a step in the right direction.

I've grown more interested in this field in the past few months, and feel it is a way that ordinary people can directly 'make a difference' (pardon the cliche)
