That`s one hell of a big "if". Al Davis has a track record of drafting on speed, but analytical data on the 40 has proven Davis wrong. Davis was thinking "what if" when he drafted "The Rocket" Ismail, too. The track record doesn` look good.
As of right now, both teams fucked up with their picks. 49ers just might have lost their 2009 1st rnd draft pick, but I`d much rather have them lose that than over pay for a late 1st rnd / 2nd rnd talent.
