The said part is more raider fans probably fell for this weak attempt than Niner fans. I never believe anything about the team until I read it from either Matt Maiocco or Matt Barrows.
it was a joke to begin with. i didnt expect anyone to take it serious. right on for the sports writer references and analysis though.

Also, I've never used Twitter, but even I know that whack attempt at deception was way too long to be posted on Twitter so it was an immediate failure.
i never twittered in my life, i can feel you.

you have to admit though, this crabtree thing is funny to anybody but a whiner fan.

Maiocco and Barrows are the Niners' beat-writers and they do a great job. They come with news about the team before anybody else and they only publish FACTS. If it's not a fact, they don't write about it. They also refrain from giving their opinions for the most part, so they are unlike sports writers like Kevin Lynch or Tim Kawakami. So, whenever Crabtree signs, they will likely be the first to report it and until I hear it from them, I don't believe anything.

All I know about twitter is you can only use so many characters every time you post, and the amount of characters you can use is less than a standard text message would allow (160). I saw that shit on the news a while back and for some reason I remembered it.

I don't see what's funny about it. Then again, I didn't see anything funny about the JaMarcus Russell holdout a few years ago, either. I guess I just don't see why fans of other teams concern themselves with another team's situation. If Crabtree were coming out and talking shit about the organization or saying he doesn't want to play for the Niners or whatever, then I could imagine fans of other teams thinking it's funny. So far there's really nothing going on. Crabtree isn't talking shit and the Niners don't seem too concerned with the whole ordeal. It's not gonna bother me until he starts missing regular season time, which is quickly approaching.

i say it is funny because of the way it unfolded and how he fell in your lap. on here atleast, niner fans were calling us stupid, yada, yada, yada. the 1st nine teams must have seen this coming. we made reference to his diva ways, and look what happened, and he hasnt even played a down in the NFL. that is comedy. if he had any real advice, it would be to take the 15 million, STFU, and play football. your work has just begun.

The raiders pick was/is stupid. Not because they passed on Crabtree, but because they took a guy with the #7 overall pick that they could have landed in the mid-to-late 20s or even the 2nd round. THAT is comical. But even then, you don't see me making threads or talking shit about DHB every time he's reported to have dropped a ball because I'm just not that concerned with what's going on with the raiders. I do think that situation holds a bit of comic value, but I'm not throwing it in everyone's face.

You think our situation is funny, that's cool. I think yours is comical as well. Only difference is I don't go out of my way to talk shit. I ONLY retaliate.

I highly doubt that. There's no way any team could have seen this coming. On top of that, if none of the teams had taken a receiver before him, he probably wouldn't be demanding more money. He feels he's being fucked over because another WR got more than he is being offered and pretty much EVERYONE had him rated as the top WR and a top 3 overall talent in the draft. He wants what he feels he deserves as the best WR in the draft.

In the end he will take whatever's being offered to him because sitting out the season would be the dumbest thing he can possibly do.

your whole argument is based SOLELY on speculation. At this point, no one knows who is living up to the hype, who is a bust, and who is a late round find. No one can predict how the draft board unfolds to a t. you lose this argument, period.

everyone drops balls. last time i checked, practice is to improve one's self and the team. once again, he hasnt even played a meaningful down yet. i'm not that concerned with the niners or any other team than the raiders, unless an individual brings it upon themselves like us sports fans tend to do. we support our teams. as we all know, what goes up must come down. even the patriots were hurt at one time.

You think our situation is funny, that's cool. I think yours is comical as well. Only difference is I don't go out of my way to talk shit. I ONLY retaliate.
like stated in the VERY first post, Chree inspired. all in good fun, or as you would say, RETALIATE. i feel it.

There's no way any team could have seen this coming.
there were reports of teams turned off by his personality. how true it is, hey, i wasnt sitting there with them. but seeing how things are unfolding now, do you think it is a possibility the reports were true?

he was picked tenth. he needs to get over it. that is how the cookie crumbles sometimes. take the going rate of 15 million guaranteed, lace up and play ball. earn the next contract if you are that good.

In the end he will take whatever's being offered to him because sitting out the season would be the dumbest thing he can possibly do.
he may be dumber than we think. i'm SPECULATING right now. only time will us the truth.

this looks like a good thread to waste time huh?

at this point i have more respect for DHB than Craptree, god damn diva.

If no agreement is reached, im willing to bet he'll slip to a later pick next draft.

Defense/OLine is usually the first round now a days.

I admit that I don't think DHB was a great pick, if it was up to me we would not have picked him... but I really don't know for sure yet

however, as of right now it's a better pick than Crabtree, because he's actually signed and playing

people laugh at the Raiders for trading away their 2011 pick, well the Niners basically just gave away their 2009 by picking Crabtree

just because al davis is a fucking idiot and doesnt know how to draft (nothing to do with the fans) doesnt make michael crabtree any less of a fucking faggot.
