im lookin for a new mic..i'm used to sticking with the Studio Projects C3 (which is a good mic and I might get the same this time around)...but i was tryna see if yall know any good mics for a low voice, not bassy but low voice that kinda blends into everything..i need a mic to bring that out..cuz most times my voice gets caught into the beat and I need somethin smooth to bring it out a lil...

somethin in the 300-350 range...Please respond only if u have experience with various mics and/or has had the same predicament as me and has found a mic that suits your needs. Thanks.

It doesnt sound like its the mic, it sounds like u need to focus on your mixing skills a lil bit. The C3 aint a bad mic for the price just try and step up your game on the fundamentals of mixing. for Instance since you are saying that your voice is blending into everything in the beat try panning instruments left and right a lil so frequencies arent conflicting with each other as much. especially focus on taking lower frequency instruments out of the center so your voice will have some flexibility in the center of your track. hope this helps peace.

yea thanks man...Thats one of things I DO need to do...cuz i got a whole bunch of tracks that need to be mixed..and your right it might just be the raw vocal that needs to be brought out...I was thinking the same too..aight thanks, imma see what the finished product sounds like (mixed)...I may not need to switch mics (and stay with the C3).
