I think that it's a step in the right direction, because in all truth Bay artist are not moving units in comparison to the rest of the country. Frontline was in XXL, Keak was in the Source, EA SKI was just in the XXL and now Messy is in the Source as well...it's getting better. You got to remember these dudes are NOT on major labeles and they are NOT moving big units (Messy ain't sold no 40,000 units per project, maybe all togeather) and this is a start...The only major label dudes out here now is the Federation (and most agree Sac. ain't the Bay) So from The V to San Jose and everywhere in between there is no major label rap artist (40 ain't on Jive no-more...after this last project) Anyway, I am not a Messy fan, but it is good to see him get some ink for all of the hard word that he has put in.
