What is it like out there?

I'm looking at several spots in Cali to work at, and Merced has some openings, and is the only place on my list that I've never been to and know nothing about.

Registered Nurse. I'm a new grad, and they aren't hiring new grads for shit in the Bay. There's nursing jobs out here but they all want experience. I'm looking at Sac, Fresno, LA, SD, and I happened to google some openings in Merced.

Right on. Yea I have relatives in Fresno and we drive thru Los Banos to get there. I had the best Mexican food I ever ate at some place in Los Banos.

I don't mind if its boring or calm, I'ma be there strictly just to work. As long as there's a gym nearby and some other regular places to hang, I'm good. And I'll be up home anyway for partying and whatnot.
