WILDOMAR ( KTLA) -- A 9-month-old baby boy was found alone in his crib -- just a few feet away from an indoor pot farm -- while his mother was arrested on burglary charges.
18-year-old Jordan Ann Womack, of Wildomar, was arrested Tuesday, along with housemates Zachary Anderson and Conrad Munoz, both 19, on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
The three suspects are accused of breaking into a supermarket and stealing bottles of alcohol.
After the arrests, Womack told police she had left her baby at home with a friend, 20-year-old John Paul Hernandez.
When authorities went to her house to check up on the baby, no one was home and the front door was unlocked.
The baby was found inside his cribe -- soiled and dehydrated -- but he is expected to recover. Investigators say the crib was four feet away from a locked closet containing a 15-plant marijuana setup
Police say Hernandez had left a hand written note that said he couldn't wait.
Hernandez was found later at his home in Lake Elsinore and arrested on child endangerment charges.
The infant is in child protective services
