For people saying JaMarcus can do better than McCown right now, Hell nah... But Culpepper I think has enough knowledge of the offense to outplay mccown.

I don't understand how they can start a guy that has a broken index finger on his throwing hand and a fucked right foot over a heathy guy that out played him in the preseason for the starting job. I mean how much system do you have to know to throw for less then 75 yards go 8 - 16 with three picks. I mean all he did was hand the ball off to Lamont. If Pep can throw for 100 yards and only 1 pick and thats an improvement I say whats the downside of starting him.......losing well to late for that shit!

I don't know whats up with kiffin starting mccown. By some of the comments he made after sunday's game he seems stubbornly set on mccown for whatever reason. It's obvious that mccown does not give the raiders the best shot at winning.

This is bullshit....McCown is TRASH!! I don't think this is Kiffin's call. I wouldn't be surprised if Daunte gets cut after the 2 week roster exemption is up for JR. He stands to make an extra 2.5 mill in incentives if he starts a game, and I'm sure there's another bonus if he takes a certain % of the snaps during the season. That shit is snack bar money but it's Al Davis we're talking about here, I don't think he wants to pay him shit since JR signed.
