definitely think McCardell has plenty of gas for the next year and one-half of his contract. He just came off a Pro Bowl season where he was the Bucs ONLY weapon. Jurevicius was hurt, Alstott and the other RBs were out for the season, Key had his little tantrums and everybody was out to beat the Super Bowl champs.

GREAT signing IMO. Thanks to poor ol' Ernie and the Giants, the Chargers still have at least eight picks in 2005 (I believe they also have an extra sixth round pick that they got in the Boston trade) with a 1st round pick and 5th round pick that more than makes up for the 3rd and 6th rounders given up in the trade.
