Suspect Freed, Colosio Case Stalls

Citing insufficient evidence, a judge has acquitted Othon Cortes Vázquez, who has been detained for 18 months for his alleged part in the 1994 assassination of presidential candidate Luis Donaldo Colosio. Two others accused of giving false testimony were also released.
