but yea i think everybody can agree that matts heel turn has increased his popularity 1000 fold .. i remember when he was feuding with jack swagger for the ECW belt .. it was a time when i was coming back to wrestling after not watching for years and without bias i can say i wasnt interested in a matt hardy ecw title run or anything like that .. his heel turn was fantastic and prolly gonna be the best one all year .

i want cena to turn heel really bad i think itd be on the level of hollywood hogan and just shock the game

Nothing will ever have the impact of Hogan turning heel. Ever. Wrestlers nowadays are constantly shifting between face and heel. Hogan was special because for 95% of his WWF run, he was the biggest face in wrestling history.


Cena desperately needs to change his gimmick, whether it be a heel turn or whatever. I personally wish he'd go back to the Thuganomics gimmick, but that's just me.

He's still pretty boring... They had a good thing when they had the two fueding but they decided to completely abandon the fact that not only did Matt "sideswipe" Jeff and his "wife" trying to kill him, but they also brought up the idea that Matt had set Jeff's trailer on fire and killed his dog, then the next week it was like that never happened.

I personally think that Jeff had a meth lab in that place. Or his real wife did... or a friend... something to that effect.

Matt Hardys heel turn was some of the best premeditated WWE writing in a long ass time.

Hogans Heel turn was great not only because it was a shocker but it didn't stop his popularity. Who knows how much NWO merchandice WCW sold, probably more than Horsemen and Sting shit put together. I wasn't a fan of Hulk till WCW made him a bad guy, even as a kid i didn't like how they shoved hulk down my throat over tons of guys who were way better in the ring than hogan. He would just get beat up by every bad guy wrestler for 20 minutes "hulk up" and end up big booting and leg dropping them and taking the title at every wrestlemania
