Their not in Dago, but Supaslumpmasters works with some big indy names and they will give you a cheap deal on mastering if you say Siccness sent you. Their banner is all over Siccness with a # you can call.

i need everything flyers cd mastering duplication artwork

anybody know some daygo spots i can check out
give more info Like where did you record at what format etc what kind of budget, what your goals and marketing plan cause you can waste alot of money or put to much in one area when you can use the money in another.
I was watching that rap or die video and they gave prices of a studio in dago and I was like- now I know why so many record at home with those prices. The place is good but for rap musicI wouldnt pay $90 an hr, I can name a few places that charge 35-45 an hr and are professional studios with big boards lots of high end outboard gear etc

I don't know about all that other stuff, but if you want your mastering sounding hotter than all these other independents, and as hot as the major labels for around the same price, holler at my homeboy Mark. He's mastered 5 number #1 Billboard albums and mastered a Grammy award nominee this year and he's similarly priced to all these people that won't do half what he will. He's in LA, but the two hour drive won't make a difference if you really want your shit FIRE!!

His num is (310) 699-3792

The guy I'm refering to (Mark) does big budget and independent stuff at great prices, and I can guarantee you it's the best quality you're gonna find. If you're sticking with Dago people, definitely go through my folks Hartman at the Batkave.. I got his hookup if you need it

yeah they better off staying local with the homie price cause if the shit was recorded poorly all the mastering in the world aint gonna help, if they aint got no distribution or budget then its not as important to spend the money on a better mastering a simple t=racks software mastering will probably be good enough for most of these underground cats anyways

^^^ You're right about the fact that the mastering ain't gonna make an album if it's recorded and mixed poorly... but I know at least a DOZEN independents with not the best quality recordings that have said they wished they had used my homeboy Mark sooner and will never use anyone else cuz the difference in sound quality was UPPED significantly..and he might even help out with the mix

Trust me, he might not even be as expensive as some of these half ass masterers in Dago.. you gotta talk to the man and let him know what you're working with. He's a cool ass cat..

You right if you looking for mastering it wouldnt hurt to explore all your options and I feel you , Ive heard some independents, shit projects i purchased at tower records and I was like, this is awful, i.e. lilcyco from westcoast mafia prime example, I expect so much more from that camp

^^^EXACTLY.. it's inexcusable.. people just don't do the homework. I can PROMISE that NOBODY on this entire site will find better mastering at the prices than my boy Mark
HIT HIM UP...

I just wanna see some better quality shit hit the market and if more independents knew about his spot, they'd never go anywhere else. ALL of his customers return on their next project.. and I DON'T vouch for people that ain't hittin

If you call up some cd duplication companies alot of them do artwork and they should all have referalls of different people in their network that can do everything. It's not always the case, but if you get one company to do everything, chances are they will not be so great at 1 or 2 things that may be crucial to you. But call cd duplicators and ask them. I went through www.rjrdigital.com for my duplication but I got my mixes, mastering, and artwork all done by different people

is everything already recorded? what equip was used? what format do you have it in? Im prettyt sure you probably recorded, on a computer, ( no offense) if you on a budget they have good software mastering programs I.E. t-rackks . What are you trying to do with the project/- mixtape, or album for moms and pops, swapmeets. It is my opinion that if everything is recorded and you on a budget, now is a crucial time to figure how to get the most bang for buck and make sure your money is used wisely-- ask alot of questions Im sure people can save you from costly mistakes they made

If you just pushin out the trunk, and pressin up a thousand.Id probably use a software mastering program or get at someone with one.i know slikk rikk is messing around with some now. I wouldnt pay for mastering the software is good enough for your needs.i would even, find someone to do the artwork, and go to kinkos, and print em up, buy some cd jewel cases and put the covers in yourself and go to a local, home business, that presses up c.d.s use cdrs and that should save you the most,

doing some research for my self...this thread has been helpful. so 50 cal (or anyone)...what do you suggest doing with a project recorded using presonus firepod, eureka, central station + acid pro 5 and a gt55 mic. is it worth mastering?
