Percy Miller aka Master P inks movie deal with Lionsgate for his bio movie “King Of The South”.
The movie will highlight the Ice Cream Man’s early childhood, through adulthood, as he built his music empire No Limit Records and took over the music industry in the 90’s, learning his music hustle game in Richmond, California and being one of the first southern artists to get his music played in New York.
The southern Hip Hop Rap mogul and entrepreneur shares his journey from the Calliope Projects to Forbes, selling over 100 million records independently and being the only Hip Hop artist to play professional basketball in the NBA.
The “King Of The South” project has added A-list writer Tyger Williams, also known for writing the infamous hit movie “Menace To Society”.
Travis Jones of ENT Hollywood says, “The King Of The South has the potential to be just as big or bigger than Straight Outta Compton, with Lionsgate backing this project and Tyger Williams as the writer.
The timing is right to tell a Master P story, there has not been a southern Hip Hop Rap artist life bio pic told on the big screen.”
