Kind of creepy at first but the way they explain things all makes sense.

Great movie, Saw and Hostel should definitely not be lumped in with this, it's so much better.

Check Calvaire! It's Belgian and not French I think though. It's not really gory, but quite fucked up and eerie...

i watched this movie with my friend and his mom once, his mom hasnt looked at me the same since, and my friend thinks im a freak

lol @ his squeamish mom being like "oh creepy whats this movie about?"
then sitting down for the whole beginning of her martyrdom, the horrific beatings and mental breaking etc. lol

So many parts of this movie made me uneasy and that takes a lot to do. I haven't watched it in like a year after seeing it like 10 times because everyone I knew kept wanting to watch it over at my place. I need to change that sometime soon.
