Once again, yall might not like his MUSIC that he's been putting out lately, but the dude can RAP better than 99% of rappers in the game. There are not many rappers more talented than Eminem.

production wise, i stopped checking for em's music after marshall mathers, but he still had sick wordplay and bars, i just wasn't feeling the production he was spraying them bars over and he lost the hunger in his voice

but then that whole tapes from back in the day exposure stuff benzino did on him put me off him totally, but after katrina now, to me yeah, that was this generations revolution and em donated $300,000 to the cause, he didn't have to do that, that was from the heart, i mean a lot of so called pro b, "when the revolution comes, when the revolution comes" rapppers wit money didn't donate or do jack shit, unless i don't know about it because it was behind doors and not advertised, i mean every human being make mistakes, em showed that its not your words, but your actions, so i gave him a bly(pass) on those tapes

but then he started spitting wit that funny accent style, so i still couldn't check for his music, but on this album his back lyrically, flow wise, wordplay wise and he's spitting regular again wit more hunger in his voice, you get what i'm saying, i just think he needs to come wit production from heads like

premo
kanye west(on that '2 words' type gutta shit)
9th wonder
pete rock
more just blaze tracks on some fabolous 'breath' type gutta shit
alchemist
muggs

i feel he bars would complement these type of soundscapes a lot better and he could come wit an classic album if he worked wit these type of producers, the type of gutta shit he use to spit over in the beginning of his career, you see what i'm saying, he took that story telling slick rick style and came wit his own original shit on his first two albums you know, thats the way i see it

Once again, you're forgetting everybody in Slaughterhouse (Royce Da 5,9", Joell Ortiz, Crooked I, Joe Budden)

Chino XL, Ras Kass, Canibus, Papoose, Hopsin, ect.

And if you're gonna say he's the best in the mainstream, I'm not even gonna you that because Drake's album (as boring as it was) was more entertaining then Relapse and Recovery.

Em still has talent yes, but accounting on his whole albums of recent, they're not really listenable

^^^ Not even close, the production would have to have been a lot of better to even be considered. Eminem to me instead of making of good music his way has bowed down to the mainstream and is putting out bullshit music

i think that was what then9ne2007 was trying to say, that technically, from a strictly lyrically standpoint, especially in the mainstream rap game, em is still up there lyrically, he's still got talent

he may spit better lyrically, but I'm saying from an overall standpoint, his albums have been trash recently

and other mainstream artist, such as Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Drake, B.o.B, Kid Cudi, and ect. have been putting out pretty decent albums.
