Cool Stuff: Marc Ecko’s Star Wars Collection

Posted on Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 at 6:00 am by: Peter Sciretta

Marc Ecko’s Star Wars Collection features designer-level streetwear for men, under license from Lucasfilm Ltd. Ecko created a variety of T-shirts and hoodies decorated with iconic Star Wars images mixed with his own edgy, street-culture interpretations. The line is being sold in select Macy’s stores, Macys.com, Marc Ecko Cut & Sew stores and Against All Odds. The guys at Shop Ecko have provided /Film readers with a special discount code — STARWARSFAN8 — which gets you $10 off all purchases over $100, plus FREE shipping, at checkout.

again?

When were nerds ever cool? Nerd & cool are mutually exclusive.
fucking hipsters and fashionistas are making nerdy things cool. although they probably have never seen the movies. anyways now on to my story...

i swear to god I saw a few a week or two ago. They are a couple, black chick and some white dude. Looked normal. Nice hipster clothing. Not unwashed. Not malnourished. And yet they had a "please give change" cup in front of them. Can you believe that? The worst part though is that they actually had money in that cup. I told them to fuck off and get a job like the rest of us. I felt like such a sell out for saying that. But they were hipsters so I soon forgot about it.

just buy the shirt a size bigger and keep it movin, its not that big of a deal
I'm talking about the designs. I mean their nice drawings, but it's too much IMO. Their borderline homosexual. I only think of gay people and Reality TV shows when I see clothes with that much design. It's typical and it places you in that same class as everyone else out there, so you become apart of that same fucken trend. I want people to look at me and have no fucken clue what type of music I'm into,etc..

Call me oldschool, outdated or whatever the fuck, but I just can't see myself wearing any of that shit. I'm a plain motherfucker when it comes to t-shirts especially.

Anyways, those shirts don't look right too big. Their meant to be worn tight or just right. You'll just look dumb with a big ass shirt using those designs. Big ass fucken canvas.
