Body Odor Prompts Police Call in Hannibal, Mo. « CBS St. Louis






It wasn’t loud noise or an argument that led to a peace disturbance call at Hannibal City Hall.
It was a person’s unpleasant odor.

The Hannibal Courier-Post reports that several city hall workers on Tuesday called police to complain that a person who came into the building smelled so bad they wanted him removed. The northeast Missouri town’s municipal code allows people to be cited for peace disturbance because of a “noxious and offensive” odor.

The man agreed to leave the building. A short time later, workers at a neighboring business called police the same person had gone there, the smell following with him.
The person left that building, too, at the urging of police. No arrest was made

I've had to ask people to leave my work because of how bad they smell a few times. It's always an awkward conversation to have with a customer lol.

There was once this lady that smelled like fresh piss on top of day old piss. You could literally smell a track of pee from where she had walked in the building and that's how I found out where she was. It took everything not to puke when talking to her, no lie. She left but wasn't very happy.

There used to be a kid in my p.e. class and this fool would smell soooo fuckin bad when he started sweating even a lil bit... He was a big chunky rosy cheeks pale white dork kid, and i think what it was is that he was nervous cecause he was a social misfit...

But it was the worst thing u ever smelled, u think bums that smell old and musty are bad??? This was some brand new fresh, gassing out of his pores, bitter, vinagery, bile-ey, pugnant, reptile-like odor... It was the worst stench ever, and this little shithead...i hella politely and privately asked suggested he get his hands on some deodorant, and he fucking like flinched and acted all squeemish like i was bullying him or something...

So the next day i fuckin went full on snitcher and told my p.e teacher (who is a hella funny short 200 lbs samoan lady) exactly what happened and how i handled it, and she got hella mad that he didnt listen to me cuz it turns out she hella noticed that shit too and she was already about to talk to him about it... So at the end of the period she told the whole class "SOME of you need to remember to wear deodorant, you guys are in high achool i shouldnt have to remind you, its actually pretty irresponsible and childish". Hahaha and everybody knew who she was talkin about n so did he... And there was hella times before that where i know for a fact he had to have seen people makin stink faces around him, he just liked his own stench or something

my boy back in elementary school started having some crazy ass body odor in junior high. dude took pride in having body odor, and even sewed on a pepe le pew patch onto his backpack. he would even boast about not showering for days. at one point, he smelled so bad, my 6th grade teacher came into class and gave him a couple of sticks of deodorant.

my 7th grade teacher never used deodorant back in arizona

in the winter the smell wasnt as bad because the weather was cold

springtime rolled around so the weather started to get warm. each day the entire classroom smelled like a mix of swamp ass and pungent onions. the teacher would wear a suit and long sleeve shirt every single day. sweat stains would show the clothing within 5 minutes of class starting
