What are all of your thoughts on the jewlery rappers be wearing. I check out lots of rap covers and advertisements and it seems like almost every rapper has to rock some big ass watch and a bracelet and chain of course. Am I the only person that thinks the shit looks lame? I think it is very cliche feel me. I personally think jewlery is for chicks. Like motherfuckas trying to look all pretty and shit.

Oh and don't get me started on how Africa been getting raped for their diamonds and other "precious" minerals... It's all briliantly orchestrated by former/current colonist occupiers... as the market is constantly manipulated to ensure the demand remains dangerously high... high enough that folks'll rob, kill, sell dope, go to prison, sell their soul... -basically be willing to follow wutever trend viacom & clearchannel endorses...
rappers been rockin jewelry since the eighties mayn in aint nuttin new. it just went from mostly all gold to mostly all diamonds. if you could afford it then buy the shit if you wanna floss a little who gives a fuck. if you concerned what fools is wearin then you thinkin bout the next man too much. to each his own i rock jewelry pretty flushed out at that, but i aint livin wit moms im married wit my own crib and my own erything. if you grind hard i say do whatever the fuck you want wit your money. if a mufucka savin his allowance to buy a gold chain thats on some other shit, but i still wouldnt give a fuck what the next cat is doin.

i think what dude is trying to say is that it's not he is pissed at what others do with their money but how money is wasted on material things when you can do so much for good with that money, like charities. now lotta rappers do contribute to charities but they're entertainers and not activists so they won't put all their efforts and heart into helping the world compared to someone who works for amnesty international.
All I can do iz speak (type) 4 myself and maybe I'm oldskool but, I rock a single herringbone or king cut and that's it. No earrings and only a solid ring (no rox) on each hand. To me that's both masculine an stylish enough to imply having some material wealth. I know alot of actual 'gangsters' (if that's what u'd like 2 say) that do as I do do or have less around their necks. Soe Kennels might've been tryin 2 just be funny but there's actually alot of truth to that.
