SAN DIEGO (AP) ― San Diego police say a man was shot and wounded after he resisted two men who tried to steal his beer.
Police Sgt. Rich Nemetz said the struggle occurred Christmas Eve in the City Heights neigborhood.
He said the assailants fired three shots at the victim, hitting him once in the buttocks before fleeing on foot.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.
