These mf's are about to go up on my bill since the promotion I signed up for is ending. I tried twice to get them to sign me up for another promotion and these mf's keep offering me triple play for damn near $200 a month.

What cable/internet service are y'all signed up with and how much does it cost? I'm not too familiar with satellite service and how they work.

Any info is appreicated.

Man i'm fightin with Comcast about a 200 dollar rebate i was promised when i signed up... it's been 4 months and I ain't seen shit...... gettin jerked around on the phone by everyone....

I've heard some people say that they just call to cancel their comcast service and then they offer you a lower rate... just callem and tellem you found a cheaper service and see if they work with you...

Do any of you Internet-Only people experience bandwidth throttling at times due to your usage? I know I gotta keep my cable company in check once in a while.

Real talk comcast stay trying to get over on someone. When i signed up i was told that i would be receiving a rebate for $50, 3 months later i still didnt get anything. I went bacc to where i signed up at, and they said i should be gettin my money soon. I noticed that they had the same promotion up except now it said the rebate was for $150 now. I waited 2 more months and started hounding them again, but this time i was tellin the reps over da phone that i was promised a $150 rebate. It took 10 months for them to finally do anything, i never got any money, instead the 150 was credited to my account and i was given starz and hbo free for 6 months. And Ambition209 is rite, if you call them and tell them you want to end your service, they'll give you a lower rate. I just did this, I used to pay damn near $130 now i pay only $80 and that rate is set for as long as im a customer unless i order ppv or upgrade/downgrade my service. My advice is keep buggin 'em, dont let them get you!

Ill take comcast over ATT Crappy DSL anyday. Gee 6mbps down and only getting 5.2mbps on ATT or get 16Mbps down on comcast. And both throttle bandwidth for utorrent connection purposes but I still use it for other stuff too so I am good. and if you can get U-Verse go for it but you have to pass a credit check and from what I hear you must have damn near perfect credit to get it.

so "screw" comcast cus they wont give you another deal? they are not obligated to keep you around forever by giving you a plug. if all businesses did that then there wouldnt be any more businesses........if you cant afford the "regular" rates then thats a personal problem...........with that said, if your caught up and recent on your comcast bill then just cancel it........sav it out for a couple weeks or what ever then go back to comcast as a "new" customer and get a "new" customer deal.........but dont bitch about it a year later........

and dont go to DirecTV.......you get a good deal at first but difference between comcast and DirecTV is Direct puts you on contract.......so if your bitchin about comcast (who aint forcing you to stay with them) then your gonna pms if you fuck with DirecTV.......

I was on a contract with Comcast too..... screw comcast and screw you too, you act like you work for them mf's with the way you're taking up for them.

i think foul mouth WORKs for the mutha fuckas dont trust em tony, your my boy im telling you direct tv and dsl is the way to go....yeah i called those weak jew mutha fuckas and they PLEADED with me to stay with em for the rate that direct tv was going to give me "for now"....comcast is a garbage ass company, theyre prices will continue to climb because they have so little compitiotion...playing games online is no different for me, i aint tryna to downloading 60 porn videos at a time so im not seeing to much of a difference between the internet

As much as I hate Comcast, I hate Dish Network more. That shit loses service if the wind blows too hard. Fuck all that.


I've never used Direct TV...


I could handle no cable, until Football season started. Then I'd be bitching every Sunday and Monday that we didn't have cable.

I work for an ISP that has no caps, never throttles bandwidth and speeds up to 30mbps...Oh and we're all located here in the Bay Area, no outsourcing.

The products available all depend on where you live though so if interested feel free to PM me.

Oh, and we don't give a fuck what you download lol...As long as the shit ain't hosted on our servers u can torrent 24/7 for all we care.
