MCLOUD, Oklahoma - 33-year-old Brad Davis was arrested Tuesday night after police say he killed his stepfather by suffocating him with his own underwear and then striking him in the head. Davis reportedly told investigators he gave 58-year-old Denver Lee St. Clair an "atomic wedgie."
Oklahoma state medical examiner's spokeswoman, Amy Elliot, said St. Clair died on the evening of December 21 from blunt force trauma to the head and asphyxiation. Today she said the death has been ruled a homicide.
According to Pottawatomie County court records, St. Clair was under a permanent protective order filed in 2008 by Tressia St. Clair. She filed for a divorce against him in 2010 but the divorce was dismissed. Denver St. Clair then filed for a divorce against her last year.
Davis has been booked at the Pottawatomie County jail on a homicide complaint, as confirmed by a jailer.
