This has got to be the most famous mobile tech related news to ever grace the interwebs, the justice system loves to waste taxpayer dollars.

No Cellphone

38yr old Derrick Ross who is an inmate at a prison in Texas just got 60 more years slapped onto his sentence just because he was found with a cellphone. It's really a sad time at this moment for poor Derrick Ross, but even though I may not agree with the amount of years given, rules are rules, no cellphone allowed in prison. Cellphones can be used to order hit on people on the outside or any other devious act, but who knows, Derrick could just have been chatting up his chick and now is paying the consequences.

depends on what his sentence was before hand....if he already had 100 then 60 more years ain't shit, but what if he had like a 10 year sentence, then fuck, that's a bitch
