MERCED, Calif. (AP) ―
A Merced County man convicted of molesting his two stepdaughters and impregnating one of them will be sentenced May 20.
A jury found 47-year-old Kenneth Eugene Jackson guilty Wednesday on eight counts of molestation and aggravated sexual assault between 2002 and 2007, beginning when the girls were 9 and 7 years old. The older girl delivered a baby in 2007 at age 13.
The victims and their mother testified, and prosecutors used DNA collected from the baby to help prove their case.
Jackson had been convicted twice in 2002 of sexual misconduct charges in Alabama. He faces life in prison.
