After readin the small business thread i got to thinkin, theres some intellegent minds in here.Recently i been thinkin about makin your money work for you.I just got a 40 hour a week bartending job and have been looking into facets to put some side money into.So we should all brain strom and see if people have had experiences with some ideas, and have tips or not.
INVESTMENT
-cd's
-bonds(i heard something about government bonds were you get 50percent of your cash back after 5 years)
-STOCKMARKET(def be something to look into if serious in investment)
-mutual funds
-online banks(your money makes more profit sitting in them then other banks, and there fda insured)
-selling dank(couple years back this def taught me the basics of money statistics and shit)
-real estate(top of the mountain, once you pay off the property you get a nice check every month)

The bad thing about investment, is ya gotta wait a while before you start makin scratch, but it seems the older you get the more you start thinkin about the future and how one day youll be cruzin round your fav whip with the baddest bitchs
PUT SOME NEW IDEAS IF YA GOT EM

Unfortunately, that's the only place I can offer my expertise. And I think I do have a shitload of expertise about that - but I'd have to assume so does everyone else on the boards. Learning that shit definately applies in some ways, and not at all in other ways. It taught me a lot about running a good business and staying honest and that type of shit.

I would like to learn about the rest of that stuff though - I'm gettin close to starting a career and hopefully saving money and buying a house and a car and all that shit. The stock market always scares the shit out of me, and I don't have enough flow to make an investment worthwhile.

This should be an interesting topic if we get some heads on here that actually know what they're talking about.

Buy stocks in items that compliment another famous 'fad' item. Such as I would buy tons and tons of stock, or at least as much as I could, of Carl Seiz camera lense stock and I would hope that more people would continue to buy Sony Digital Cameras. That way I would make money from Sony but I wouldnt have to pay for their outrageous stock prices.

also, look into vending machines. purchasing them will run you a G or two for one. plus the cost of the contents, but if you can get them into an office building or hospital or shopping mall, you can really clean up.

i wanted to do this too.they run 2-3 thou for a big one.if you can get a good spot you'll have guarenteed income with barely any work.just gotta go maybe twice a week and restock.........

iv herd about the silent business partner in up comming businesses, that seams pretty cool but how would you go about setting money income in stone, like would you have to get a lawyer and have everything written down so that the silent partner doesnt get fucked if the business really booms, or is it usually like tight interlocked people that go into business together.

This investment banker told me to really really look into getting started with real estate as fast as you can since god aint makin any more land, and stock marketing. any one know the online stockmarket game that gives you a taste of the market even though its just a game

My friends a fuckin nike head, and hes all into gettin the SB limited editions, now they go from 70-300 and mo, and there only made once and then let free. we were thinkin of getting a new pair whenever they come out and stash them for a couple years, then on ebay you can make more then 50 percent profit, if ya check ebay now for rare nikes the people that are sellin them are makin a killin!

jus out of curiousity ,do they teach you all this street like information when you take a colege business class and get your degree, or do they jus teach you the math and stats of it all, then you gotta be the creative one and feel out the population

your talkin bout dunks right? the problem with that is different countrys/regions get certain dunks.but really they're a good investment period.i bought 2 pairs last year.all white leathers and black on black suede/leather.i got'em for buy 1 get 1 half off.other day i peeped a dunk site and eash pair was 80 bucks.i bought both together for 90 somethin.im thinkin bout buyin all whites and flippin'em out different ways then slangin'em.........
