MPC2000 is hella tight. If you know how to use it. One of the main reasons I use it, is the pads on that mothafucka. Its more comfortable than the keys on a keyboard to me. A lot of the times I bang on the pads with anger, If i were to do that shit on my keyboard I'd fuck the keys up easily. That shit got a lot of features to it, and when you know how to program it really good; you'll be makin tight ass beats.

But theres a catch, you gotta find the Hats, Snares, Bass Drumz, etc... And load them up. Its a risk becuz if you don't have a keyboard that has drum kits that will fit your needs, your gonna have to take risks and buy sound libraries off of ebay or somewhere. They don't cost much, 10 - 20 bones. They come loaded with drum kits. (but like Kev said, if you snatch up a Roland XV-5050, you'll be set with drum kits)

Just go to Sam Ash or a Guitar Center and get a taste of the MPC or anything else thats on your mind. Pick the one that YOU feel comfortable with.

Fuck buying a drum kit. Just sample some, OR go to your local music store and buy a module that has tight modules such as the Mo Phatt, and sample all the drums. THen return that bitch for you money back. Now you have a bunch of dope drum kits.
