madden problem

my madden is stuck in widescreen mode and the option to change it is shaded so i cant highlight to change it. even tried to start it without my memory card in to see if it was just something fucked up with my settings but it still starts in widescreen mode with no way of changing...anybody ever came across this??

Wow never heard of that. It could be your system settings check those. If not that try a different copy of the game and see if it changes. But I'd check settings on you consule first. Let me know what happens
