The battle of the long-haired football players commences, as Larry Fitzgerald and Troy Polamalu score joint custody of the cover for EA's Madden NFL 10, a first in the franchise's 21-year history.

EA can't seem to commit to one cover athlete this year, with multiple sports stars sharing the covers for Fight Night: Round 4, Grand Slam Tennis, and now Madden NFL 10. This year the cover to the seminal football video game franchise is shared by Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu, two players whose careers are nearly as long and glorious as the hair cascading out from under their helmets.

This actually marks Fitzgerald's second stint as an EA cover boy, having been featured on the cover of NCAA Football 2005. Both men should be safe from the fictional Madden curse as long as they stay away from sultry women named Delilah wielding scissors.

were all suckers for buying this shit...theres no game that could replace it no matter what the 2k fanboys wanted to say...but i allready know that fighting for first down bullshit is going to be heavily weighed on the offense side and glitches will happen where you got 3 defenders trying to tackle AP and he just bust threw em for the TD...
