MADDEN 05 QUESTION/HELP

When playing on All-Madden, is it just me, or is it nearly impossible to stop the pass on defense? It doesn't matter if I have a sick defense and the computer has a shit offense. I cant stop the pass for shit. I can do fine on Offense and stopping the run, but fuck, I cant stop the pass for shit, especially if it's a long bomb

Any pointers, tricks etc?

I'm in/(was in, havent played in awhile) the exact same position as you. My only trick was to control the ball for as much time as possible and score 35+ a game.

thats the way its ALWAYS been...ur recievers will never burn their secondary, but every time, ur secondary cant catch up to their wide receivers...its so unrealistic.

yeah, the shit pisses me off, but I'm at the point where All-Pro is way too fucking easy and now, like tony said, I have to score 30/35 points a game or more just to win and it doesnt matter if im playin the fucking cardinals

Also if you have a fast LB go after the QB. When I play i usually bring my LB to the outside of the line and shift my d-line to that side that I'm on so no one will pick me up and go as fast as I can at the QB.

I try doing that as well and sometimes I'll get the QB or fuck up his pass, but often times I'll get burned.

-when your reicevers are open as fuck down the field, as soon as you throw that bitch their way, the CP defenders seem to get a jolt up their asses and just plain run down your guy so everytiem he deflects passes.

-on defense when you hit their quarterback ,his arm is not even in motion, and as soon as you tackle him all of a sudden his arm bursts forward and burns you for a 40yrd gain...lmao

-when QBing you got a blitzer, and the is a defender right in front of the blitzer, but funny thing is, the blitzer runs right past the defender without a glance his way, i mean all the defenders gotta do is stick his hand out and touch him, hes looking directly at him...lmao

when the oppsing kicker lines up 50+ yards away from the goal, madden says "hedoesnt make them past 40", and the kick sails over the uprights and if there wasnt a net could easily reach the parking lot.

...the shit goes on and on.

but i love the fuck out of this game.

the QB turned around and threw it the opposite direction on me... it took me a minute to figure out wtf just happened... mcnair did a 180 degree turn and just gunned it... this ever happen to any of you?

game has some flaws.. hella sicc game tho

Untrue in the final seconds of the game!!! I was facing a good, maybe even great kicker, and it was only a 30 yarder and when they have that dramatic ending thing he missed I was shitting my pants like wtf. It went into OT and I won. I believe this happened twice.

lmao...like when the cp qb has his back to the playing field, his head looking at his own end zone then as soon as i get near him he turns and ina flash launches one 80 yrds for a td? yeah its happened...it happens a lot on play action passes, especially with manning.

@tony206...what you experienced is a glitch, that shit rarely happens, yeah the kicker missed from 30, i couldnt tell you how many times the cp kicker kicks it from beyond 50 and madden says hes never made it this far, and bam, the bitch is a perfect kick that could have sailed over twice the length it was kicked from.



another thing that annoys me about the game is playing the colts, fuck i could go take a shit, wash my hands, go get some water, come back, scratch my balls, pick the controller back up and manning will still be up at the line calling audibles and pointing and yelling...lmao.
