3/16/00 - Interview conducted by Blitzty of horrorcore.com with Mad Insanity and G-Dubb.

Why is Mad Insanity always having problems with little pre-pubecent cunts who like to get the shit beat outta them?
J RZ: I myself am not at liberty to talk about that subject personally, but, exposing myself to children in the playground is my area of expertise.
G-Dubb: I haven't had any such encounter yet, but I'm hoping that soon my day will come.
Mars: For me it's like a service I offer, I dont discriminate against anyone. If a bitch wants to get her ass beat, fat , flat chested, 12 years old or 30 I dont give a fuck I'll slap them like I would a man. What you've been hearing about was me getting set up by some fat hoe who got me jumped by some niggaz I have beef with and after I chased all these fucks off when I was running around yelling with a butterfly knife I went to where the bitch was I whipped her ass for setting me up. I got court tomorrow as a matter of fact. The rest of my shit has been from my bitch and I always fighting over dumb shit. Then she gets mad and calls 5-0. Fucking whores.
How is the production for "Son Of 100 Maniacs" comming along?
G-Dubb: I think we're probably about halfway there... We've got a lot of stuff recorded, but it still needs to be mixed down...
Mars: I'm feelin all the new shit G-dubb has been putting together for us. Were taking our time on the album to get shit running smoothly. I've been on the phone constantly talking to people in the industry and shit. We have a lot of money invested into Mad Insanity for this album so shit has got to be done right. We're definately not going to be rushing anything.
J RZ: The production is coming along pretty propper for a quality, well made album thats not just thrown together at night, ya feel me? We got a little sidetracked with trying to hustle for skrilla and legal buisness, but we will get there.
Mars: Fo' sho! The business side of this is the most important part. That has to be taken care of before any thing else.
Ya i feel ya......What seperates you guys from most other Horrorcore/Wicked Shxt artist out there today?
G-Dubb: I don't really listen to much Horrorcore so I don't know
Mars: We handle the business side of shit and stay neutral in peoples shit with each other. Most everyone in this game is fighting with each other and it takes away from everything else. We try to be down with everyone and use that. Fuck all the dumb shit. Plus we dont use monster sounding voice effects all the time. When we use that shit its to bring out emotion on a track not to make us sound like The Wizard Of OZ
J RZ: We don't change our voices to sound more "wicked" and shit. I can't stand all the shit that comes out in this genre with kids who try and sound "spooky"! Just use the voice you got, if you got skills you do. Plus alot of kids are just ICP biters which is more annoying than a fucking cat scratch on your ballsack.
Mars: Were down with ICP and Psychopathic and talked to them over the phone for differnt things and shit but were not trying to be a juggalo cover band. We got our own style, just because we got masks and shit we aint trying to be like anyone. This is horrorcore where crazy weird shit is respected the most. It keeps the scene interesting and keeps kids comming back for more of that weird shit their moms hate.
True....How is your newer shxt different from your older shxt as far as the music goes?
G-Dubb: For one thing, the production is a lot better...
J RZ: The old shit sounds rushed. Tape hiss and all that shit. Our new tracks got that digital quality sound to it. Plus the production has moved up from a small drum machine to big fucking keyboards that Ghetto Sideburns always plays on until Dubb slaps his fat ass.
Mars: Quality is the biggest differance. We would throw any shit we recorded on our old albums. For me, SIDS was just somthing I used to get anger out so it sounds like me just yelling about shit with half the tracks not having hooks. Now theres deeper thought into our lyrics, we sit down and think of shit togehter, me Rizz and G-dubb all put our ideas togehter.
G-Dubb: There's a lot of different concepts on this album too... A lot of song ideas that nobody has ever come up with before... It's a lot more creative.
Mars: Exactly was I was trying to get at. We want to keep the shit we would like to bump in the ride. If I have to skip a track to get to a good song then fuck that track in the first place. We want the album to be playable through out the whole program and it to all flow together. Before we would make tracks and toss it on a album with an intro it we would hate it a month later.
What other projects does Mad Insanity have underway aside from cds?
J RZ: I have a solo project in the works, but that would fall into the cd catagory so fuck it.
G-Dubb: Wickedstock in April...
Mars This is the first time we have talked about it but we are bringing Mad Insanity Records back. Right now, we're not trying to shop our shit to labels that wouldnt fuck with us because we talk about rape, and shit like that so were going to do shit our self. Its just going to be us on the label for now but when we get more scrilla we'll be fucking with other people too. I've been sitting down and working shit for a horrorcore magazine to be released every other month, its far from being ready and I know people have been putting things togehter too so I didn't want to talk about it much because I didnt want to seem like I was stepping on peoples toes and shit. Because Thats not the case. But when shits all thought out I'll be running that shit and have it out to select stores. Again, the business side first.

Sounds dope...J RZ says he has some solo shit coming ....what bout you Mars?
Mars: Right now, I've got too much shit to fuck with before I can even think about doing a solo. I'll probally do some shit up eventually but like I said before I'm constanly putting shit togehter for us as a group. Its like hook ups with contacts in the industry fall in my lap and I never hesitate to use that to our advantage. Like take Vanilla Ice for example, his manager called me and woke me up one day. I thought Vanilla Ice? What the fuck? What kind of shit can we use that nigga for? Fuck all that though.
J RZ: I am not gonna say much about my solo. It's just a underground joint that I'm pressing up myself, but with digital sound quality. I just enjoy doing my own tracks, on my own time, and not depending on anyone else but my own fat ass. It will be under my other rap name AZRAEL and it will have a different sound than the Mad Insanity albums will.
Mars: I'd like to work together more with G-Dubb for me learn to produce more shit so I can fuck with some horrorcore groups were freinds with. I'm trying to catch every aspect of the game. I'm going to produce a track for Bad Mind so I can feel things out for myself.
Are there any other groups Mad Insanity would like to do a collab with, like you guys did with Halfbreed a while back with SlaughterHouse?
J RZ: Collabs aint really in my mind at the moment. Me and my homie Castro talk on the phone a couple times and threw ideas at each other. But thats an ol' school homie. I really don't know about collaborations, but if a groups dope and they want to hook up on a sick ass idea I would be more than willing
Mars: Simken Heights got at us to do a track on Cap-1's solo on a track called Kill The Preacher, G-Dubbs workin with this cat from the east coast named Jubei and we recorded a sick hook for him the other night. But for our album were gonna do shit by ourselves for right now, the new album will define Mad Insanity
