Mac Tyi is a independant female artist born and Raised in San Francisco's Bay View Hunters Point District, The Bay Area. Her style is Hardcore Rap, Hip-Hop. Mac Tyi comes from a family of Pimps, Players, Hustlers. Her mother was a Drug dealer and a pimp, Her father was a Drug Dealer and a Gang Member. She came from nothing but poverty and the struggle. She grew up at a early age where she was exposed to the life of crime and violence. She had love for Hip-Hop since the 80's, At the age of 13 She had decided that Hip-Hop was something she wanted to do. By the age of 16 she was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon. Mac Tyi ran the streets getting in and out of trouble as a teenager until she changed her life around. Mac Tyi turned her negative to a positive. She started rapping on the streets of San Francisco. Through out her career she has gone through hard times trying to make it as a Female Rap Artist. Mac Tyi has continued to make a name for her self on the streets. She took part in freestyle battles on the streets rapping against male rap artist to get her respect. She participated in countless Talent Shows, Opening shows, and has networked through out the Bay Area. 1993 recorded home mix-tape streets of San Francisco, 1995 recorded song Nah as I creep at Third Eye Studios with producer Ghazi Shami. 1996 Recorded Mistaken Identity Featuring Nina Ross aka Bloody Mary at Laid/Black Productions with producer Mr Laid. 1997 Recorded song The Hustle Continues at T-Super studio in San Francisco California. 1998 networked with Hush Hush Entertainment in San Mateo California. 1999 networked with Black-n-Brown Entertainment with producer Gold Toes Julio. 2000 networked with K-lou studios in Richmond California. 2001 College of San Mateo's Hip-Hop Extravaganza. 2002 Opening show with various artist San Quinn, Big Rich & Young Know, Buddah Mack. 2003 Opening show with Yukmouth, Lo Lo Swift, Lost Souls. 2004 featured on Rumble Big Din's Song Dat Lava recorded at I'll Azz Productions with Producer Mr.Red Evil. 2005 Alleyway Entertainment featured on V-Boy's Song Mob Shit. 2006 networked with Hold em Up Records in San Mateo California. In that same year I met up with Thug World Records Ghetto Politician And signed a record deal. 2007 I casted on VH1 Reality Show Miss Rap Supreme Where I made it to the top 25. 2008 I'm Dropping my first solo Album called Block Chick.
