Can't say I ever heard it, definately don't recall it.. Damn M-Sane doesn't even have a copy?
There was a label linked to DPE that worked wit em, and they weren't from Cali... Kentucky or somewhere in the Northwest springs to mind. Can you remember any cover art they mocked up? If a group of soldiers in brown army fatigue jogs memories - I can track down that cover for you on my HDD>
On another note, ya know that Ballaholics project sposed to come after Pimpin N Panderin, did it ever get done? I can't remember that either.
I really couldn't tell you about any covers and albums. All I know was downloading at the time an unknown song, thinking where the heck is this coming from, since none of his albums had it listed. Needless to say, I was surprised as I was also with the song I Don't Trust These Hoes (This was before Pimpin N Panderin was released). Later I've found out about the compilation D.P.E from which the latter one originated. I couldn't link the one in question to anything, though. Regardless, The "Resurrection" (I am almost certain that was the only title of the song) was dope as hell from recollection, but I haven't heard it in maybe 8 years. It had that mid to late 90's feel to it. I vaguely remember it as a somewhat low quality recording, too. I also believe a piece from a scene in a movie was used in the intro to the song. Auuuww.... If I had only known it will be this rare, I would have had multiple copies by now. Instead, I lost it all with a hard drive crash. I should also note that Audiogalaxy before it got shut down was loaded with all kinds of music. From who or how that song found its way on there remains to me at least a mystery.
Edit: NorCal707E is right. Now that I think about it, Ballahollic did indeed drop in 06 I think.
