What ever happened to:

Nuttz--I haven't heard from him since Break Bread and Break Bread Mafia.

Battleram--I haven't heard from him since Everyday Life Situations Vol 1 & 2.

Mr. Yayo--I haven't heard from him since his "Dem Mighty Dollas" album.

Threezle a.k.a. Three Cent--Got a cd from him with late '99 early '00 music on it....haven't heard from him since. I believe he moved to Michigan.

Mr. Roc N Ron---Was supposed to drop an album...hasn't happened yet.

S.E.T. (Southeast Trickeration)--Own one of their cds...they need to drop new heat.



Have I missed anyone?

ive lived in dago my whole life, but i was always into the UNDERGROUND scene.

cats like COSBE 1, ORKO, ICONS, shit like that.

then im come here & it exposes me to a whole nother side of SD music,

nice shit.

In Dago, you have separate underground scenes. You have what people would label "backpackers" and you have the crowd that people would label "gangsta". Then, you have a few who fall in between and don't get noticed as much (kinda like myself - hahaha!). What's good about it is that there's different styles to choose from. The bad thing is that when people say "Dago underground hip-hop" they are usually taking about one specific crowd, which is the so-called "backpackers". Another bad thing is that the so-called "gangsta" crowd is heavily divided by gang affiliation. Peace.

Them stupid backpackers arent very creative at all. They say they dig the lyrical rappers like Eminem and shit and they don't even like the greatest rappers in the game, like Pac, but rather listen to Biggie all everyone from the East Coast. Shit, thats why San Diego is like one of those growing cities that are trying to be all corporate and shit. Just like the other cities like in Detroit and shit. Its so fucked up, they soft!!!

What happened to Battle Loc from the coast? I always wondered what happened to the homie Orko. What happened to Green Eyes? For a while he had the most smashinest song in Dago, "The Struggle is On".
