So I got an Ozone around Xmas because I found a bundle that came with the Ozone and Pro Tools M-Powered Acadmeic version. Running Pro Tools before was kinda slow because I only had 512 megs of RAM but I just upgraded to 2 gigs and thought I would start learning it since it should run better now.

The Ozone is not just a MIDI controller, but a sound card is in the unit as well. While hooking it up as a sound card I came across a problem. If I hook my monitors directly into the keyboard, I can't seem to find a way to control the volume except for using the knobs on the back of my monitors which I shouldn't have to do. I must be missing something because that is outrageous if there is no way to plug monitors into this thing and be able to change the volume of the output. Here is an image of what the keyboard looks like and also a link to its page.

I also have an M-Audio Omnistudio USB so I was thinking another way of doing this might be to run the output of the keyboard's sound card into an input on the Omnistudio and monitor it through there. I tried this awhile ago but didn't get it working, although I didn't try very hard.
