i bought the bx8a's about 6 months ago and they were proper (in the store they beat everything in there including KRK, Yamaha, Event, etc) but a month ago one of them busted so i send it in for a repair and they just sent me back the new version of this monitor - looks better and sounds better. so i call them up asking why they did that and they just told me they gon send me the other one for free so basically i just got updated monitors for free. :siccness:

yes it is brah. these monitors slap i was shakin the whole house you could throw a party with these i think all you need is some speaker stands. thats not what its for though but im just saying - also i got them bitches for $330 brand new 6 months ago i think its $299 now - for both monitors hellova deal and now i get a free upgrade man i cant complain.

^shit i bought them bitches off ebay cuz back then guitar center wanted $500 i just made sure it had a warranty and it did cuz it was brand new and the ebay seller was an authorized dealer

but i dunno what they selling these days they only had 1 pair when i bought it thats why it was so cheap

i suggest just doing an ebay search or going to guitarcenter.com or zzounds.com or musiciansfreind.com - the new ones are going for $500 on ebay so i definetly came up wow

They look slighty better on the new version.

I currently have the ones which you previously had for the moment, till i decide to upgrade. You could do with some Aurolex pads from the looks of it.

yeah i always search n be patient as possible when i buy gear but ive came up on good deals....especially when ive bought gear that contains slight cosmetic damage or something they sent to someone then they returned it a few days later....i got my emu 46x keyboard for only 120 cuz its was returned and had to be re stocced.....the original price was like 180 and the smaller key version was 130 lol....and a few years bacc i got a rode nt 1a for 150 when it was going for about 200-250 cuz it had slight damage....turned out the damage was actually on the shocc mount and the mic itself didnt contain any damage at all so i gotta great deal....

so yeah i always try to find the best deal im a jew when it comes to buying any gear....software is all free but hardware is expensive.....

aurelex pads are pads that you sit the monitors on...they absorb the slumpage so that it wont shake shit around it that could cause extra noise which would distract from the sound of your mixes....i think some of the speaker stands come with pads on them or are designed to do the same thing....

kinda like noise proofing a car with beat so it dont got that trunk rattle....

ah ok i seen them in gtr center but i didnt buy them im a jew as well when it comes to buying shit. actually when i used to sell weed thats what my friends would call me cuz i wouldn't let anyone smoke for free hahahaha. straight jew shit.
