i always thought the shit zapp (vocoder) did was diffrent from what t pain uses (autotune).
autotune is easy to use thats why you hear so many people doing it.its just a plug in.you hardly hear somebody doing the zapp sound cause that takes keyboard skills.

I'm thinkin Lynch is influenced by none other than Lil Wayne these days. There's definitely signs on some of the more recent mixtapes, and now u got this voice Synth.
By the way, as a West Coast head, I'm well aware that T-pain was not the first one to use the voice altering, the thread title is somewhat highjacked from back when SNoops Sensual Seduction came out, that being said I dont think its coincidence that Snoop, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, T.I, and now Lynch Hung started doing it more recently.
