i feel you honestly...i really do..and i'm a hip hop head to the core...its just really hard for me to listen to something i know isnt giving me any intrinsic value. like, i dont wanna be taught something on a rap. why do i have to listen so hard to dig lupe fiasco? like, can you break down one of his songs as an example of his lyrical ability to convey pictures in rhymes with his 'encoded language'? (im using alot of words.) thats my main gripe with him so far..like..what is this nigga talkin about?
maybe eventually ill like his shit i think sometimes years later i like things...hell, i ended up liking mase, didnt think that was possible
