I FEEL YOU WOODIE IS THE REASON I GOT INTO UNDERGROUND RAP FIRST SONG I EVER HEARD WAS SHITS GONE STRANGE AND I CANT BELIEVE THAT HE IS GONE. ID NEVER HAVE TO THINK TWICE ABOUT BUYING A WOODIE CD EVERYTHING HE WAS ON WAS CLASSIC. PRAYERS GO OUT TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS. RAP TO ME IS NEVER GONNA BE THE SAME HE WAS BASICALLY THE ONLY ARTIST BESIDES THE ONES HE PUT ON THE MAP THAT I COULDN'T WAIT FOR A NEW ALBUM TO DROP

yeah i feel u on that shit S-1 can't get that shit outta my head...I didn't know him personally like y'all did, but i was a very big fan of his music. i've bought every cd he's put out and have never been disappointed. It's a very tragic situation. One of the main things i liked about him which was y i gave him a lot of respect, was how he treated everyone of his fans. If we ever had a question for him it was always answered right here on this forum, not a whole lot of rappers have that connection with their fans. i've been stuck in a zone that's inexplanable ever since i first read this shit earlier today. At first i was waiting for this to turn into a FALSE RUMOR...but hopes of that was lost when i seen how many people were getting on here. He treated all his fans as homies and stayed true to his cause... and like someone already said...the UNDERGROUND NORTHERN CALI scene will never be tha same. I'm all tha way up here in WA and he's got thousands of fans here...it's just a sad way to end his career...Hopefully ECCR FAM stays strong and keep his memory alive and keep tha label going. Stay up y'all and hit that dank and blow that shit to tha sky for him...pour outta little liquor

RIP WOOD

Like I told you, Sol....Cherish your memories. Know that you were the best friend you could possibly be to him, and that you helped make his time here more bearable. Keep your head up, and know that you and him were both blessed to impact and influence each other.

Mars, that pic gave me chills. That was the first time I met Wood.

I didn't personaly know dude, but spoke to him once over the phone.

He was down to earth and real business minded. Schooled me on a few things. I've always held on to those business tips he gave me. I'm forever grateful.
