lol after only 3 weeks! too funny!!! typical raider fan getting all wet over a win against the browns!
wasn't this the one talking about how the 9ers were #1 after they went 2-0?

Jordan is a good back, but I still can't wait till Rhodes comes in.

he's not the fastest back, but he seems to be a smart and shifty runner
he is not shifty. he thinks he's shifty but every time he tries to hit the R1 button he gets popped. he needs to stop trying to break ankles and just keep the feet moving and bulldozing muhfuckas for that extra yard. rhodes in the rotation will keep lamont's legs fresh, probably be a 70/30 split. if daunte ever starts the run game could be vicious.

I remember before last season Jordan put up over 1000 yds behind a bad o line.. and tha line was even worse last year.. this year its lookin nice and Jordan is tearin it up.. and Rhodes is bout to come back.. ooh maan we gonna have a tandem here. though they both remind me of the same type of back.. jus Rhodes more speed and can cut more

LAST YEARS ABOMINATION OF AN OFFENSIVE LINE HAD ME THINKING THAT MAYBE THIS GUY WASN'T GOING TO EVER GOING TO IMPROVE AND BECOME A LEGIT GROUND THREAT IN THE LEAGUE. I THINK AT WEEK 3, LEADING THE DIVISION IN RUSHING YARDS ALONG WITH BEING IN 2ND PLACE IN THE ENTIRE NFL FOR RUSHING YARDS, IT'S SAFE TO SAY THAT LAMONT JORDAN IS A DOPE RUNNING BACK.

WHERE DOES FRANK GORE RANK AT AGAIN?
Who is Frank Gore?!? oh yeaaah.. that 1 year wonder right? :dead:

Ouch... I think he'll do good this week because they have Seattle coming to town. The Niners usually run through Seattle. If they lose to Seattle they're in trouble.

He's that guy who sits right up there in the "elite" category with the likes of LT and LJ.

But who is LaMont Jordan again? Oh yeaaah, that 3 game wonder right?

Get the fuck outta here.
NOT TO HATE ON GORE AT ALL. BECAUSE I DO THINK HE'S BETTER THAN JORDAN. BUT I DON'T THINK ONE GREAT SEASON MAKES YOU AN "ELITE" BACK. HE'S A GREAT BACK.. NO DOUBT.. BUT HE HAS TO HAVE ANOTHER GREAT SEASON ORDER TO BE CALLED "ELITE."

Those aren't even my words, those are the words of almost everyone around the league.

Gore got a lot of his yards himself last season by breaking tackles and getting himself in the open, but the offensive line did their part in opening holes for him. He has the vision and patience to find those holes, but a lot of backs do - Gore just makes more of his opportunities. Gore is an elite ground threat, there is no denying that no matter who you are.. And if you watch him play and keep your eyes locked on him you'll see he's an excellent blocker and he's the total package overall. He's not doing a bad job this year at all despite what the stats indicate. Almost everyone in the NFL (coaches and players) rank him top 5.. If a top 5 back is not elite, what is? So if one year is not enough, then go talk to the NFL coaches, players and writers who have called Gore an elite running back.

Good luck.

I AGREE WITH ALL THOSE THINGS.

I DON'T THINK HE'S DOING A BAD JOB THIS YEAR EITHER. YOU'RE ALSO RIGHT IN THAT HE IS CONSIDERED BY A LOT OF PEOPLE AROUND THE LEAGUE TO BE IN THE TOP 5. YOU KNOW HOW THAT WORKS THOUGH. PEOPLE ARE FICKLE. IF HE HAS A SUB-PAR SEASON WATCH HOW QUICK THAT CHANGES.

It just shows you how big coaching plays a factor. Tom Cable has done a great job with turning this o line around.
We were trying tell these cats that all off-season. These fools laughed because we didn't throw our whole draft just to upgrade the o-line. We told these cats over and over it was the coaching.

like mentioned he had one good season! do it consistently and I'll consider him an "elite" back.. now we'll just have to wait to see how the season goes to consider him in the "elite" category

In terms of the NFL, you are nobody and your opinion is nothing. So I don't think anyone gives a rat's ass if you consider someone elite or not. If you have a problem with Gore being labeled elite, then take it up with the actual players, coaches and writers who have given him that label. I think I'd take their opinions over yours, especially the coaches and players' opinions.

Thanks.
