I think you'll get banned for playing online with a moded xbox 360. I'm thinking about buying a new one just to have the thin black one and using my old one for modded games.

you can play online with a modded xbox if the games are patched correctly. not hard but if you dont know what youre doing than yes you will get banned.

honestly I dont even like playing live with wifi, I notice a difference any where or time I've played. Just a subtle lag that drives me crazy.

nope.xbox wont read any burned games unless you get the drive flashed by someone.
it aint worth it. the whole point of xbox 360 is to play online.
if you wanna cheap out and burn your games be prepared to have a banned from live system that is worthless.
