Hey everyone,

I’m looking to dive deeper into the classic West Coast rap scene and would love some recommendations. I’ve been a fan of artists like Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Tupac for a while, but I feel like there’s a whole universe of legendary albums I haven’t explored yet.

I’m specifically interested in albums from the 90s and early 2000s that really shaped the West Coast rap scene. I know a lot of people talk about python course The Chronic and Doggystyle, but are there any hidden gems or underrated classics that don’t always get the same recognition? Whether it's albums from smaller labels or underground artists, I’m open to anything that really embodies the West Coast sound—whether it’s the G-funk vibe, the street narratives, or the influence of the Bay Area.

Also, I’m looking for albums that tell a story or have strong conceptual elements. I’ve always appreciated albums that feel cohesive and take you on a journey from start to finish. Do you have any favorites like that?

I’d really appreciate it if you could share your top recommendations. If you could also add a brief description of why you think the album is significant or what makes it stand out, that would be awesome!

Looking forward to hearing your suggestions!

Thanks in advance!!
