Myself and R8R are in the early stages of double disc SAC classics mix similar to the SFC one we released earlier this year. We've got around 50 tracks picked out but looking for another 4 or so to add and I tought I'd save myself some time and go straight to fellow experts. We're sticking to CD releases for audio quality and because we've got a tape mix series in the works for the tape only stuff.

Here are the artists we've got covered so far:

3-D
Babe Reg
BeGee
Big Hollis
Big O
Big Rel
B.P.M.
Brotha Lynch Hung
Bukcshot
C-Bo
CCH
Chill Bola
COS
CRISIS
Cyco
Da-Da
Darkside
D-Dubb
DJ Kat
Dosia (I know they are 2/3rds Fresno but have to include them)
Dubb Sak
Eight Ball Loc
Explicit
First Degree the DE
Foe Loco
Gangsta Dre
Gangsta Playaz
G-Macc
G-Menace
Hollow Tip
Homicide
H-Wood
Hyst
Jackers
J-Killa
J-Mack
Junie
Kapital Boyz
Koniack
Lil Joe
Lil Pigg Penn
Liquid (of Sickpack)
Lunasicc
Mally-Mal
Marvaless
Marv-Mitch & LeMay
Max-A-Million
MC2 & J-Dog
Melly-Mel
Mic-C

X-Raided
Young Bo
Young Dre D
Young Joker
Young Ridah
Zigg Zagg

I've left a handful of 90's artists off because they didn't have any tracks that really stood out to me. If any one out there has a track or two in mind that you think we should check-out please send me a www.zshare.net link. I'd love to hear your picks. Thank you in advance for all your help!

Holy shit this gunna be tight, bring back the old school! You about nailed all the classics, i would only reccomend young ridah in the mix, with the song, "on my way to the top" off his album "look who's flossen" don't know if you heard it or not but that shit is classic to me, it may be the perfect track to start the album with IMO

Yeah, I have that Young Ridah CD in a box at home but for some reason thought it was released in the 2000's. I'll do some digging and check that out. Thanks for the recommendation!

how bout bowleggs?
Yeah....couldn't really find a good CD track w/ Bowleggs on it from the 90's, let me know if you have one or two in mind. I know 2 Black Basstuds was re-released on CD but I've already used my favorite Bowleggs track off it on a tape mix. Good call on him missing from the list above tho.

i agree

off top of my head, that's not on your list, you could add the following banging tracks. they are all within the dates mentioned.

lil blu - nightmares embraced
g-idez - murder feat. pancharelly loco, capone, big q, fettimeans, lil blu etc.
g-idez - sherm high feat. capone, headz up kamikazes, munee clip etc.
foe loco - cold hearted
babe reg and t-tay - i think twice
dada - struggle
greedy - birdshit
lil blu and lil pigg penn - ridin

bread had some really dope tracks that he was featured on, but it was 2000. i also dig the munchie song north highlands california from 1997.

Cool! I have some G-Idez comps but knew he had some earlier work but don't know much about Lil Blu. If you have these tracks in mp3 format do you mind shooting me a upload of them? I've got Munchie's only CD release "Prepare Yourself" but it may be missing that North Highlands track because I don't remember digging too much of that album. I've seen the tape single but have never heard it. I know I'm missing some Greedy, M.A.K., GP, Skee 64, etc so all these recommendations are exactly what we're looking for! Thanks Lu!
