just lookin out for you guys, I kno times are rough and many of you, like me are on craigslist 24/7 lookin for work. Be careful of some shit i almost fell for (like a dumbass).

post said sumthin like

"Good News for Drivers and Chauffers(sp)"

the ad was sumn like
20 bucks an hour for driving some people around.

i emailed them and got an email back saying this:

Hello i am glad to hear from you and i happy you applied to drive me and my fiancee and i need to know if you meet all these criteria before we can accept you..Right now we are in Philippine we re coming over to California for 2weeks vacation...


You must be over 21 years old
All applicants must:
Be responsible and dependable!!!
Have strong communication skills
Have a professional appearance and demeanor
Be at least 23 years old with a minimum of 5 years driving experience
Have a valid CA class B driver's license with passenger endorsement
Have a clean driving record
Have the desire to help people!


And i want you to know that our schedule for the whole time we are staying...You will be available 2 times in a week for 3hours for each day and all we need to do is to drive us around town for shopping and bring us back to the hotel.And i want you to know that i can only afford to pay you $900 weekly that's $900 for the 6hours in a week.....Please get back to me if you are okay with all these and if you meet these qualities and i want you to know that you will be paid your $900 first week payment up front before our arrival by a client....

Our arrival date is March 15th at the international airport...This depends on where is closer to you where you can pick us up.

I want you to let me know if you can be able to do this job.

I emailed them back and about 10 minutes later recieved this:

Thanks for the mail and i must say i am satisfied with your status and we are also okay with you and like i said that our arrival date is March 15th and you will pick us at the airport closer to you and i want you to also know that all our full traveling schedule is with our travel agent which will be released next week.....If you dont have a car,we will make a proper arrangement for a car to be ready for us upon our arrival.All gas expenses will be our responsibility
Concerning the first week up front payment which will be sent to you by a client via ups mail service in form of US CERTIFIED CASHIERS CHECK or AMERICAN MONEY ORDERS and because we are not in the US now the payment will be paid in excess and you will receive like $3750 and all you have to do is to get the payment to your bank for proper verification,deduct your $900 and then withdraw the excess funds which is for our travel agent to prepare our arrival schedule papers and also our reservation at a good hotel at your location which the agent is going to prepare as fast as he can so we can arrive asap on the planned date March 15th....

Please kindly forward your payment informations to receive the payment when its ready...

Craigslist needs to make me a MOD... I would clean out all the garbage in the Car & Trucks section....

also
No Phone Number = Scam
e-Mail = Data Collection

Google the title of the Ad and it will come back in multiple Cities.
The Scams are Obvious....

lol, i got one of those fake ass checcs for like 70 G'z...said it was from a target store or some shit...this was like 2 years ago, than a friend of mine kept telling me he won an online lottery contest and said these guys were coming to give him his checc....well dude deposits the fake checc in his account and gets $100 advance on a $3000 checc and well....the bank calls bacc 2 days later saying they want there money bacc or charges of fraud were being filed......all from nigeria....
